About Me
I’m Claire Taggart, and I’m a two-time Paralympian in the sport of boccia. I had the honor of representing my country in both the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020(+1) Paralympic Games. In boccia, I compete as a BC2 athlete, and I’m proud to say that I currently hold the world’s number one ranking. My journey to becoming a world champion began in December 2022 when I secured that title.

Corporate Partnership Opportunities
Claire is keen to expand her network and share her knowledge of being a disabled athlete within elite sport, by gaining business partnerships to work alongside her in the quest to compete and medal at the Paris Paralympic Games, 2024.
Claire is in receipt of National Lottery funding through the UK Boccia World Class Programme. However, competing in elite sport can be very expensive, and Claire is currently looking for additional support to ensure she is able to continue compete at the highest level. She also has a mind to the future, to protect her legacy and continue to live a productive life as someone with a complex physical disability.
Claire can be available for various events and opportunities both within and out-with sport. Limitations on availability would only be due to training and competing, as these are Claire’s number one priorities.

- Event days – The company and employees have the opportunity to play boccia and get involved with this incredibly inclusive sport.
- Kit sponsorship for training and leisure wear, making for great advertising and company promotion.
Claire is looking to connect with a few select companies to help her achieve her goals at Paris 2024, but also spread awareness of disability, and sport for people with disabilities.
